FAQ

How long before I see results?

Pigmentation results are measured in months, not days. The change is gradual and consistency matters more than intensity. Applying it properly every day for months works better than starting very strong and giving up.

Can I do the treatment without going to a clinic?

Yes, the Cosmelan home pack is designed to be used at home. If you are not sure whether your spot needs Cosmelan or a gentler depigmenting product, message us before buying.

Can melasma be treated?

Yes, it can be treated and improved a lot, but it does not go away for good. It tends to come back with sun exposure or hormonal changes, which is why the maintenance stage is not optional.

Can I do the treatment in summer?

It depends more on you than on the calendar. If you are going to protect your skin properly, with SPF every morning reapplied during the day, a cap or hat and avoiding the midday sun, or if you simply do not sunbathe, you can. If you are heading to the beach and know you will not follow the routine, it is not the right time, as unprotected exposure can make spots come back or darken. That is why, in most cases, we recommend starting in autumn.

Can I combine it with retinol or acids?

No. During the treatment, Cosmelan should not be combined with retinol or other acids or exfoliants, because your skin is already working hard and adding them would irritate it further. What it needs is the opposite, a simple routine that hydrates it and helps repair its barrier, like melan recovery, which is already in the pack. Muy contenta con los resultados de este pack. Te entra la crema cosmelan2, la crema para reparar y el protector solar. Mis manchas se han reducido mucho. Además el envío fue muy rápido y las chicas me ayudaron con algunas dudas que tenia. Lo volveré a comprar sin duda.
